In mass vaccination, there are various reasons for high pressure in the system.
For example, the operator can hit the cartilage, there might be particles in the vaccine that block the vaccine flow, the user might be using a single injection head instead of a dual head, and so on.
In order to lower the pressure, After high-pressure detection, the system will repump the max dose (0.6ml).
In the High-Presusre procedure, the system will help direct you to the problem by asking a few questions.
The first two times the system detects High-Pressure, it will give the operator a warning alert and allow continue working, in case the reason is hitting the cartilage or a small blockage that fixed itself.
Control unit notification | Control unit LED | Hand unit LEDs | Duration | Comments |
High-Pressure | Yellow | Yellow light indication on the right side. | Red light- one second | The injection was not completed |
The third time, the system detects high pressure, it will try to release the pressure by returning the injector to the home position.
If it does succeed in returning to the home position and there is still pressure, this notification will appear:
Control unit notification | Control unit LED | Hand unit LEDs | Duration | Comments |
High-Pressure Partial blockage Check needle, pump Press OK | Red | Red light indication on the right side | The message stays on the screen until the user clicks OK. | The user won’t be able to inject in the meantime. |
If it doesn't succeed- and we are using:
A Dual system
The high pressure is in the secondary unit or in both primary and secondary.
The following message will appear:
Control unit notification | Control unit LED | Hand unit LEDs | Duration | Comments |
High-Pressure Verify the use of Dual Injection Head Then press ok | Red | Red light indication on the right side | The message stays on the screen until the user clicks OK. | The user won’t be able to inject in the meantime. |
If one of the above conditions is false or if they were true and the user replaced the injection head, the system still detects high pressure.
The following message will appear:
Control unit notification | Control unit LED | Hand unit LEDs | Duration | Comments |
High-Pressure Replace the needle Then press ok | Red | Red light indication on the right side | The message stays on the screen until the user clicks OK. | The user won’t be able to inject in the meantime. The needle counter will be reset automatically when the user presses OK. |
After the user presses OK, the system will try to release pressure by returning the injector to the home position.
If it doesn't succeed, The following message will appear:
Control unit notification | Control unit LED | Hand unit LEDs | Duration | Comments |
High-Pressure Error Shutdown the system | Red | Red light indication on the right side | The message stays on the screen until the user shuts down the system. | The user won’t be able to inject in the meantime. |
